Affiliate policy.
Useful preparation should come before a purchase.
Published and updated 27 October 2026.
If you follow a labelled affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, ReadyEssentials may receive a commission.
What is linked today?
No owner-supplied Amazon Special Links are included in this release. The supplies guide contains clearly marked generic selection placeholders. They are not live purchase recommendations, named product reviews or affiliate links.
How links will be added
Only verified Special Links supplied by the site owner will be published. Each live link must be identified as an affiliate link beside its recommendation, use descriptive text, and explain if it opens a new tab. The data model records category, product name, description, selection rationale, publication status and URL.
What we will not claim
We do not invent testing, reviews, ratings, prices, stock availability or government endorsement. We do not scrape Amazon or use unauthorised product imagery. We do not call an item “best” without a transparent, substantiated basis.
Planning stays independent
The calculator and shopping-gap list work without retailer links. Our checklist quantities do not change because of commission, and optional upgrades do not count towards the completion score. Printed and downloaded emergency plans contain no advertising or affiliate links.
Check what you own, prepare gradually and choose suitable low-cost options. Read the supplies guide, editorial policy and About page.
